Evolution & Future Plan

Virat Hospice which was started with 8 beds in a rented building has now 28 beds in our own 3 acres campus at bhedaghat. Virat Hospice needed to build its own building to cater the increasing number of cancer patients. This project has already finished its first phase. Now we are in second phase and we have a vision for this hospice so that the patients in their terminal stage can spend their last days of life in a more serene, spiritual and a peaceful atmosphere. For that purpose it has a definite plan.

 

The development of Virat Hospice is planned under Four phases. We have already completed Second phase -

  1. Five blocks construction  (including kitchen & Dining hall)

  2. Staff quarters

  3. Admin Block

  4. OPD Block

  5. Goshaala

  6. Re-creation zone

  7. Garden

  8. Physiotherapy Unit

 

We have already completed 60% of the second phase.​

In third phase we will have

  1. Radio therapy Unit

  2. A Prayer Hall

  3. A more comprehensive preventive and research center based on studies in cancer.

  1. Dedicated Hospital Care for Cancer Patients

  2. Breast Unit

  3. Maxillofacial Unit

  4. Other Cancer Units

  5. All cancer facility under one roof

  6. Teaching institution for medicals and para medicals
